Our bamboo collection is from Vietnam, where they have a long tradition of cultivating bamboo and producing items from it. The items are handmade, and each item is unique, as it is made of natural materials. Bamboo is one of the fastest growing plants in the world. Bamboo can be planted, grown and harvested much faster than wood. Due to the growth rate, and because there is so much of it, it is relatively cheap and at the same time a sustainable solution for interior and furniture - and as building material in certain parts of the world.

Maintenance: Since bamboo is very robust, it is excellent for both outdoor as well as indoor use. The surface may become more grey over time, especially when used outdoors, which is a natural process and contributes to the charm of the product. When used outdoors, bamboo can be attacked by mould, but it is only on the surface. Be sure to keep the underlay dry so that the furniture legs do not adsorb water. Remember to store your bamboo furniture dry and with good ventilation in autumn and winter.
